Fire damage restoration generally starts with an assessment of the damage, followed by removing damaged materials, cleaning smoke and soot, addressing water used to fight the fire, and repairing the structure. Every property is different, so the plan is set after the damage is reviewed.

Assessment

Once the property is safe to enter, the damage to structure, finishes and contents is reviewed.

This review shapes the restoration plan.

Cleanup and removal

Materials that can't be saved are removed, and smoke and soot are cleaned from the surfaces that remain.

Water from firefighting often needs to be addressed as well.

Repairs and rebuilding

After cleanup, damaged areas are repaired — framing, drywall, paint, flooring and more.

Because we're also a general contractor, we can handle repairs and painting after restoration.
